Richard Ryder was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Threesome" (CBS, 1984-85) and "The Laker Girls" (CBS, 1989-1990). Ryder worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Designing Women" (CBS, 1986-1993). Several more television roles followed in the nineties, including stints on "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (1992-99) and "Harts of the West" (CBS, 1993-94).
