Hacksaw Ridge
- Available February 7th

Mel Gibson directs the untold true story of Desmond T. Doss; a United States Army veteran who served as a combat medic in WWII and saved a large group of soldiers without ever using a combat weapon.

Desmond’s (Andrew Garfield) passion for anti-gun violence doesn’t sit well with his fellow soldiers, but his faith and determination didn’t stop him from successfully serving his country. Nail biting, bone chilling, and action packed are only a few words to describe this amazing film!

Moonlight - Available February 14th

One of the most talked about films of the year - and one of the most critically acclaimed - Moonlight follows the life of a man from childhood to adulthood as he struggles to find his place in the world as a homosexual black man while growing up in a rough neighborhood.

The award nominations have been piling in for this film – to no surprise – and we couldn’t think of a film more deserving.

The film stars Trevante Rhodes, Andre Holland, Janelle Monae, Naomi Harris and Mahershala Ali (who has been sweeping the board with his award wins).

Manchester by the Sea - Available February 14th

Lee Chandler (Casey Affleck), a janitor working in Quincy, Massachusetts is forced to shake off his quiet, loner demeanor when he gets the news about his brother’s passing, and is left with the custody of his nephew Patrick (Lucas Hedges). Saying it’s emotional and heart wrenching doesn’t do the film justice - it's a masterpiece, period.

Doctor Strange
- Available February 14th

We can definitely admit Doctor Strange lived up to the hype, if not surpassed all expectations!

The film follows Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) on his healing journey after a career-ending car accident. That is when he discovers the power of magic and alternative dimensions, and things start to become amazingly strange.

Marvel gave us cinematic gold once again, but to be honest...when do they not?

Feeling completely alone, Nadine is stuck in a rut, but with the help of some unexpected friends, there may be a light at the end of the tunnel – not without a few awkward and hilarious moments along the way.

It was called the "modern day John Hughes-type" movie this generation needed, and we agree!
