Synopsis

Winter Rose is an aspiring singer-songwriter living on the edge. Having grown up as an orphan, she trusts in nothing and no one. But when she learns that her inspiration, iconic songstress Rachal Love, is holding a contest to find a singer who can rightfully take her place in the largest televised concert in history, Winter takes one last shot. Winter finds herself the roller-coaster journey her life: She's swept up in what seems like a dream, but also comes face-to-face with her deep distrust of fame, her haunted past and the urge to numb her dangerously open heart with whiskey. Yet even as Winter starts to self-destruct, she forms a bond with Rachal, who is in many ways her emotional double, and the husband who gave Rachal a chance when she most needed it. When Winter finally commits to give her all on the stage, it's no longer about singing her own tune, but honoring the musical legacy of a true friend and the spirit of transcendence.
